Hurricane Ida impacted the New York/Tri-State area, as well as Louisiana, creating hardships for many. At WeShield, we stand by these communities affected by Hurricane Ida and are committed to helping you rebuild.

We live by a “safety first” motto, understanding that rebuilding requires the appropriate supplies to avoid injuries and long-term health issues.

WeShield is donating “rebuilding kits” for those in need—containing NIOSH-approved N95 masks, TPE gloves, Redi-wipes, Disinfectant Spray, and USA-made level-3 protective gowns. To obtain one of these rebuilding kits, please email us at info@weshield.us

Beyond donating supplies to the community, WeShield stands committed to ensuring that those who need to rebuild can do so safely. Maintaining safety protocols while renovating your home due to storm damage is of the utmost importance.

WeShield CEO and Co-Founder Michael Sinensky is a proud founder of Friends of Rockaway Beach, a charitable foundation that was created after Michael had his own brush with a natural disaster. His hometown of Rockaway, New York was destroyed in the path of Hurricane Sandy, and he knew he had to take action.

With Friends of Rockaway, he helped his community rebuild and learned about the process of renovating after a storm. Michael felt inspired to share the information he learned during that pivotal time in his life with those who are now affected by Hurricane Ida.

Below, you’ll find some important tips for rebuilding in the aftermath of catastrophic flooding. Feel free to use the guides below in your rebuilding efforts, and let WeShield know how we can help.
